I was scrolling through beautydirectory the other night and came across a new venture seeing Harper’s BAZAAR, CLEO, COSMOPOLITAN, Dolly, and ELLE team up. What are these magazines teaming up to do? Launch a new beauty box – THE EDIT.
The article in Beauty Directory stated “Created in partnership between Bauer Media and Chicane Marketing, THE EDIT sample boxes will feature a selection of on-trend products hand-picked each quarter to reflect the essence of each magazine”. So I’m thinking we should be expecting something similar to Pacific Magazine’s THE PARCEL, launched in September 2014. THE PARCEL saw Marie Claire be the first fashion magazine to enter this arena, followed by their sister publication, Girlfirend Magazine.
So far THE PARCEL has been one of my favourite beauty boxes, with their quarterly offerings packed with high-end brands with a number of full size products (I’ve seen great value from every box released so far). I’ll be keeping my eye out for more news on THE EDIT and keen to sign up once more details are released.
