Finding your perfect shade just got a whole lot easier!

Finding your match in foundation shades can be difficult, especially with the growth of shopping for makeup online & even just a lack of testers at your local makeup store.
Findation.com was launched last year, and just recently came out of it’s testing stage, with over 34,000 people logging matches before the site was ready for action! Now the site has developed it covers over 300 brands – 1,700 products & more than 12,00 foundation shades!!
It is super simple to use, just enter in your foundation shade (the more brands/shades you enter the more accurate the match).
Enter the Brand & it will bring up it’s foundation products & the different shades for each. As I mentioned the more matches you enter the better the results will be. Once you have entered all your matches, proceed to recommendations.
This is a look at the recommendations screen (if your wondering I typed in MAC Studio Sculpt in NC20). It brings up matches against a variety of brands, although you can filter which ones you are interested in using the column on the left. I tested it a little bit by entering just 2 shades but checking a few other products I didn’t type in and I found it super accurate!
This is a great resource & is definitely a must use if you are online shopping to get the best possible idea of your shade without physically trying out a product!

Thanks for this – I used it with 2 very basic foundations I have(Garnier and Dove) and one of the matches it gave me was an Estee Lauder Invisible shade – which was the exact shade I’d been given by an Estee Lauder consultant in a sample! Very impressed with the accuracy.
It is pretty amazing! It’s one of those things that is like – why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?! x
