So what’s in the box..

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Polish in “Shoot the Moon”

This was my favourite item this month, I LOVE Sally Hansen polishes, their formula is great & it dries quickly. They are also a very generous size so you don’t need to worry about running out for a longg time! I don’t normally wear a lot of metallic colours but this one is gorgeous, it’s a striking pewter grey metallic shade with a hint of gold to it.

RRP $14.95

Naturalus Natural Paw Paw Ointment

It looks like there is a new Paw Paw cream on the market, I have just applied this too much lips and it’s very hydrating and has a bit of a scent to it which you don’t normally get with Paw Paw ointments.

RRP $5.95 30g (7 g sample)

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Colour Renew

Hmm… I don’t have a problem with John Frieda but I also don’t have blonde hair. Bella Box does ask you questions about hair type/colour when signing up so it’s a little bit odd that they would send this product out to those with dark hair. Maybe one day I’ll decide to go blonde?

RRP $17.99 for 250ml (samples are 45ml)

U Skin Solutions Nourishing Cleansing Milk

This product smells amazing, it’s a mix of sandalwood & lilly pilly & it looks interesting! I haven’t tried U Skin Solutions before so I am keen to give it a go!

RRP $32.95 for 125ml

Batiste Dry Shampoo

I saw this in the box & was actually hoping it may of been one of their new scents – they just released a cherry one! I love this dry shampoo & it is a good size to keep stashed away for emergencies (I have one in the glovebox of my car!)

RRP $9.95

Gatineau Aquamemory Moisture Replenishing Cream

Lastly we have this Moisturiser from Gatineau is super hydrating, with a lovely fresh scent to it. Suitable for dehydrated skin I’ll certainly put it to the test!

RRP $104 50ml

SO that was the Valentines Bella Box! What did you think of the products? Apart from the blonde products which were a bit of a fumble on the part of BB the rest was pretty good and i can’t wait to get stuck into the nailpolish!

Nice bunch of goodies you got there in your Bellabox! I think the Sally Hansen nail polish in Shoot the Moon looks the most enticing to me! I’m no longer a Bellabox subscriber unfortunately…

I know.. I feel like I could possibly see all the boxes, pick out my favourite product if I see something new & interesting and buy it and i’d possibly save money in the long run.. ahh too many choices! Are you signed up to any other boxes now? x

I got the exact same box and although I’m not keeping my subscription, I was happy with what I got this month. As for the blonde shampoo, this stuff has very little pigment so you can use it on brown hair if you wish (I have before).

I’m thinking I may need to cancel it soon.. I have too many things & just signed up to her fashion box!! Thanks for the tip on the blonde shampoo, but my hair is dyed red so I need to use a colour depositing shampoo for it to keep it vibrant and I think this would possibly defeat the purpose!

I received the very same box. I do have (fake) blonde so its perfect for me. I gave away the dry shampoo – I find that stuff a bit freaky. I prefer this box to the other one I have seen (with the eyeliner and nail stickers) — we did well this month. I do hate how we dont all receive the same thing though.

Mine box was a little different…I got a pretty Sally Hansen glitter polish instead, called Mermaid’s Tale, and instead of the John Frieda stuff, paw paw ointment & Gatineau products, I got John Frieda Frizz-Ease & Nuxe Huike Prodigeuse which is a French ‘Multi-purpose’ product for face, body & hair..it’s some kind of oil…not sure how to use it really.

Does anyone know if you can use the Batiste on dark/black hair?

Hi Megs! I have seen the shade Mermaid’s Tale it is one of the brand new ones and I quite like it – although I don’t usually wear those chunky glitter polishes.
Nuxe is a fabulous brand, it is an oil which is similar to a moisturiser on skin leaving a smooth glowy look (they have a shimmer version as well) but can also work to soften your face, or in the hair as something similar to a leave in treatment. Think similar to Argan oil which can be used in hair and on skin.

The Bastiste that came in your BB I probably would not recommend for dark hair, it comes out very white (there is a dark version available) so in black hair could leave a bit of residue – Maybe try it right before washing your hair to see how you go with it and you can always wash it out if it’s no good! Hope this helps & thanks so much for reading xx
